Guided Tour of the Louvre Museum with admission to the Musée d’Orsay

About the museums

The Louvre Museum was founded as a medieval fortress in the 12th century. Before opening its doors as a museum in 1793, it also served as a royal palace. Today it is the most visited museum in the world. Meanwhile, the Orsay Museum occupies a former railway station. It was inaugurated as a museum in 1986, dedicated to 19th-century art and Impressionism.

What to see during the visit

At the Louvre Museum, universal masterpieces stand out such as the enigmatic Mona Lisa, the classical sculpture of the Venus de Milo, and the monumental Coronation of Napoleon. At the Orsay Museum, the visit focuses on Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, with masterpieces by Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas, in a unique space that preserves the essence of its railway past.
