General information

Louvre Museum:

  • It is MANDATORY to bring a valid ID or passport (original) to access the monument.
  • It is recommended to arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes in advance.
  • Reserved access may be affected by museum security procedures, such as the Vigipirate plan, security checks, or large crowds.
  • Large bags, strollers, and umbrellas must be left in the museum cloakroom.
  • Groups have a maximum of 25 people.
  • Please note that the guided tour is conducted at a dynamic pace and may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. Elevators will not be available during the tour.

Orsay Museum:

  • The ticket is valid all day. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Thursdays until 9:45 p.m. Entry is allowed up to one hour before closing.
  • Please bring headphones and a mobile phone with battery and internet access to download and use the audio guide.
  • You will receive a document through which you can download and use the audio guide app.
  • Tickets for children under 5 years old do not include the audio guide.
  • Until summer 2028, the Orsay Museum will renovate its reception areas, but it will remain open with access to all its collections.
  • During the works, access the museum via the Parvis Entrance (5 Rue de la Légion d’Honneur).
  • Reserved access is subject to regulatory restrictions of the Vigipirate Plan, security checks, or unexpected crowds that may exceptionally cause waiting times.
  • Cloakroom is mandatory for large bags, backpacks, strollers, and umbrellas.
  • Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the activity. If you cancel with less time, arrive late or do not show up, no refund will be offered.
