About Versailles
The Domaine de Trianon and the gardens of Versailles reflect the splendor of art and nature in the service of French royalty. Designed in the 17th century under the direction of Louis XIV, these spaces were private retreats where the monarchy could enjoy life away from the protocol of the palace. Among precise geometries, fountains and landscaped paths, classical architecture is combined with the landscape, creating a unique environment of beauty and serenity.
